The article contains clarification pertaining to hearing of cases, related to election of deputies of village, settlement, district, city, district in cities and oblast councils, and village, settlement, city heads. The attention is drawn to the fact that Law “On election of deputies of local councils and village, settlement, city heads” of January 14, 1998 is effective with changes, introduced in accordance with the laws of February 16, 1999 and of February 7, 2002 and has some peculiarities in comparison with the Law “On election of National Deputies of Ukraine” of October 18, 2001.
